Post Silver Lake Ford Off-roading!

As we've been discussing on the mailing list, a few Ford 4x4 owners are planning on heading to Silver Lake in May - exact date yet unknown. There may be some Ford engineers attending to get ideas on how to better improve these beasts, no promises though. Post on here which dates would work best for anyone wanting to attend and we will narrow it down, I'll be driving my Ford Explorer from Denver and I think there are going to be 4-5 other F-150's attending if I remember right? Look forward to seeing everyone there!

mattbert,

Can I be so bold as to suggest a date? Assuming your looking at weekends, The 13th and the 27th are the only Saturdays I can attend. The 27th is part of the Memorial Day weekend (VERY BUSY). So if it works out for you I suggest Sat the 13th.

Cool

Keep me informed. I'm orginally from Jenison, MI and I travel to my parents and in-laws about once a month. I'll try and schedule the weekend mentioned to drive back to GR.

Guys, JMC started another thread at: https://www.f150online.com/f150board...ML/000086.html

Looks like the trip is planned for May 20th, sorry Redwings. To everyone else planning on going, hope to see you there! (Hope I can get there myself, I'm feeling a bit nostalgic after hanging out on the board a while - makes me miss my F-150) .

Dennis - wow I am utterly suprised someone still remembers that story . Nope haven't been having trouble with birds, I think its because I don't keep my explorer as clean as I kept my F-150 so they could care less about crapping all over it .
