Perhaps not, if you consider that those of us who have paid for our orders have to wait until TRS accumulates all 25 orders before any are shipped.

The discount DOES NOT stop when we hit 25 buyers. 100 buyers can participate if they want...

The discount DOES stop after Aug 15.

We do need 25 units to get the full 25% discount though, and we are a bit more than half-way there.

When you order, you will automatically get the 25% discount. Orders will be held until we hit the 25 level. If for some reason we don't hit that level (but I think we will), we will have the option of taking a slightly smaller discount, or not going ahead with your order.

Ordered two kits today the Mini H1 Stage III and the Matchboxes stage III. So there is 2 more orders. I know when I talked to Matt today he said that we are very close to having 25. So hurry up and get your orders in.

What color output is everyone ordering?

IE 4300, 5000, 6000?????

I did 4300 for my two kits and then got a pair of 5000 for the set of projectors already on my truck to see the color difference.

I got 6000k cuz thats what I had in my pNps and I like the little bit of blue they put out. My dad has 5000k and it is a pure white, and reaches out a little farther, but I've got 4 lights in my grill for distance :devil:

I've had good luck previously with 5000K -- it's a nice pure white but still has a good amount of light output. So, I ordered my additional units at that temperature also.

Supposedly 4300 is the highest absolute visible light output, and 5000 is a bit less, but just a bit. Higher than that, the visible output drops off more -- that is, it is less in the range where your eyes can best pick it up...but it all depends on what your overall goals are. I've seen ones sold at 10000K and even 12000, but it's way into the purplish-violet zone at that point...I've always wondered what kind of applications where someone would actually want that.

Im interested in doing this but has anyone successfully performed this on 2010/2011 trucks? Also, am I correct to assume 1 kit will do both headlights or do I need 2 kits?

I was all set to go 4300k, but switched to 5000k when Nate at TRS told me that both he and Matt run 5000k.

Yes. 5000K looks so much more better than 4300K

And virtually no difference in light output :beers:

5K is my choice as well.

Oddly enough, I was looking to TRS to retro my wife's MDX. I haven't been to this site in 7 months (newborn...) But ran acrossed this group buy and thought what the heck for 25% and combined shipping, I do my wife's MDX and my FX4.

x3 5000k is much better. My dad wanted an OEM look so I put 4300k in his, but I love the 5000k in mine. Almost the same output and just clear white.

Just got zn email from Andy at TRS. He said they're pretty backed up from our GB but all wire harnesses should be completed by Friday at the latest then most remaining orders will be shipped.

What shrouds did everyone go with?

Mine is being shipped usps not ups.....

Tracking info states: info received but no shipping status as of yet.....

Gattling gun 2.0 with halo.....but my retro is going on a sport trac....

In my experience that's generally the problem with USPS. The only "status" you get is when the package has been delivered. As the recipient, that info is usually of "limited" use. :p

UPS now sez that mine are supposed to show up by the end of the day Friday (tomorrow).
