I love the looks of that hood, and would consider purchasing one!

If I owned a Civic, and that hood was for a Civic, and I loved The Fast and The Furious.... I still wouldn't put that hood on my vehicle.

Definitely would be interested and I prefer the "R" concept hood to the Gm hood.

Thanks for the feedback and replies thus far. The hood would be made from fiberglass like most of the other Keystone products. While the hood would be based on the design I came up with, Keystone would obviously tweak things a bit, especially if the snorkeling for the intake and louvers were getting into each other's way, etc.

I am not sure if they can make variations without louvers (maybe that depends on how successful the version is with the louvers).

Also, sorry I didn't include a white mock-up, it wasn't coming out right in Photoshop and didn't want to post garbage. You guys have a good imagination though!

Any other interested buyers please continue to post! Looks we have almost 20 people so far!

How about finding somebody to make that lower front fascia.

For what it is worth I care more about having heat extracting vents than the scoop, but the hood would be one of the best looking. I still don’t understand why someone has not come out with a 00 Cobra R hood for the trucks.

hey, can one of you photoshop whizs make the louvers a little further back or maybe have the hood scoop placed in the middle with louvers like the 03 cobras rather than many louvers? I don't think the hood looks exactly right with the louvers way up in the front portion of the hood.

It's too early to tell exactly where the scoop and louvers will end up on the production version. The louvers may very well have to be located further up on the hood.

I don't know of any photoshop wizzes

LatemodelRacer2, that is also a possibility... one thing at a time though! I only have 2 hands!
