Lincoln LS???

I have always wanted a 98 or newer Camaro ever since I sold my last one. But, I have now come across Lincoln LS sport/luxury sedans for like $15k on ebay!!! This car would have more room for friends and I to ride around in cause the F150 wont cut it. I would be buying this as a summer vehicle and it seems to me that an LS with 4.6L V8 leather, moonroof, etc. is a lot of car for $15k!! So, what do you guys think about them?? I bet it would be easy to increase performance where they sport the 4.6L. Does anyone know of any sites like this for them where I could view rides and read about upgrades?? Just a thought I had, still would love to get a 99 Camaro SS though.

The LS's are awesome. GO and have a trained driver at a Lincoln dealer give you a test ride. If you dont leave with a huge A smile on your face, something is wrong. It's not a 0-60mph car, but when above 100mph, it really comes alive. Handling the back roads in them is a blast.

My brother has one and it drives great.

for $15k with the 4.6 and moonroof/leather you can't go wrong. What color is it?

.

Last time I checked, the LS doesn't come with the 4.6L V8. Two engine options, 3.0L DOHC v6 and a 3.9L DOHC V8.

But anyway, a LS6 or an LS8 would be awesome.

I have a close freind who always buys the Marks. BTW, Mk7s and Mk8s have incredible performance potential and there's lots of special interest groups for ideas and support.

Good luck.

Brain Cramp...

sorry guys, I do remember when my parents looked at getting a 2000 LS the V8 was a 250hp small V-8. It does have the 3.9L but I just read somewhere (either ebay or a site I was searching) that the advertised LS had the 4.6L. I did not catch that and they are/were wrong. I do not plan on buying now, just wondering what the F150 community thought? Most of the LS's on ebay were under $18k So, I am hoping I can eventually find one locally for the same general price.

Does anyone know of any cool LS sites?

I love the LS.
If I were ever going to drive a car, an LS would be at the top of the consideration list.

It looks so sweet in black with the windows tinted, really brings out the 'cool factor"

My mom has the LS and I drive it whenever I can! It's a blast to drive and handles great. She has the v6 but it has a little kick to it so I like it. It is one of the smoothest riding cars I have ever been in and corners excellent. If I didn't have the lightning I might think about getting one!

Rice Kicker....

Still thinking hard about it. I would not buy anytime soon (not till next summer at least). I was just wondering what the F150 community had to say about the car. I would love to find a performance site on the LS. The black LS with tinted windows and some nice rims would be killer. But, I did promise the significant other another F-Body some day. Ahhh, back to the money issue. For the money ($15-18k on ebay) the LS with all the ammenities is one hell of a deal considering most cost over $35k just two years ago

The Merc Maurader is nice looking but a little on the big side. If they ever come out with that Maurader Convertible, that would be a nice ride!
