What a bunch of BS...

...but to play along...I don't know what Jesus would drive, but according to songwriter Marc Kohn ("Walking in Memphis"):

"...If there's a God up in Heaven,
He's got a silver Thunderbird."

Great song, by the way ("Silver Thunderbird")!

I am a Christian, I do believe in Jesus, and I do go to church, I dont like every one at church and i dont take the word of the preacher as the word of god - simply his interpretation. If you look for a excuse not to go then you will always find one. For those that belive but do not go, go to church on Sunday and tell me that after church you regretted it. If you did, find another church.

Wittom do bad things happen to good people - definentally, does the bible promise that if you are a believer you will have a charmed life? no it does not. I am a thinker and I take nothing at face value, i stuggle with my faith from time to time, sad to say but my normal thought process prevails. What the worst that can happen , whats the best that can happen.

well worst is you live a live with no apparent reason and you spend eternity in hell, if there is no God then you just live a live with no apparent reason other than self satisfaction, you die and its over.

the best is you live a life trying to live by a standard and you spend eternity in heaven. if there is no God then you live a life trying to live by a standard and when you die its over and you are no better or worse for beliving in God.

this is not what I base my faith in but in some dark times my normal thought got the best of me.

Religion is a personal thing and everyone is entitled to an opion. It does not have a place in the suv market.

Your interpretation of Religion sounds very much like mine. I also wrestle from time to time with my faith but I do believe in God and Jesus, but everything after that can get a little fuzzy from time to time.

But hey I am going to hell for driving my Toyota, V8, Gas Guzzling, Polluting Truck. You know what I am overdue for baby seal skin seats and Whale blubber tire upgrades.

BTW: Jesus wouldn't drive. He would hitchhike. The question how many of us would pick him up.

Love your posts in this. I hurt from laughing so hard. Do you think Buddha drives a Honda Civic?

If God can make my next truck perform better and use less gas than my present truck, I'm all for it.

This thread reminds me of one of my favorite sayings....

"Jesus may be my co-pilot but the devil is my bombadier."

Religion is a personal thing and everyone is entitled to an opion. It does not have a place in the suv market.
Now this I like to see.

You see, though I don't believe, I don't have any problem with the people who do. The way I look at it is there is really no credible evidense to support the believers or the non-believers. I don't think the way that I think is right and every one else is wrong. There is as much chance that what I believe is wrong as there is what, say a catholic believes.

Though I don't believe in God and all that stuff that goes along with "him", I am a good person. You can ask anyone, except Raoul, and they will tell you so. I believe that I will live a life that is fullfilling to me and that positively effects people around me, then I will die and be given back to the Earth.

I like to see that people of all beliefs can conclude that some things just shouldn't be tied to (a) religion. I think it's too bad that this "what would Jesus drive" campagain has got this far. It's a poor way to voice serious concerns and targets innocent, good people.

If driving an SUV is bad enough to get sent to hell, what about all the worse things that have happened, are happening and will happen. Hell is going to be one crowded place. There will be a few people in Heaven feeling pretty lonely.

Talking Typical American

Who said JC would be driving an American make/model.
Might as well been an European make/model.

I'd say Mercedes Benz cause of that star.

Sorry F150Europe, Jesus would never drive a Mercedes Benz . Jesus was a Jew and we all know what the germans did to the Jews....No, he would never drive a Benz a Bimmer or a Bug. At least thats what the voices told me

Personally I don't think Jesus would, but I'd love to see him drive a Winston Cup car down the turnpike...

Now that would turn some heads

I don't think Jesus needs to drive anywhere now.
