Jesus wants our trucks and SUV’s
Jesus wants our trucks and SUV’s
First, let me say I don’t go to church much anymore but I do however believe in GOD.
I just can’t bring myself to believe that Jesus wants to take our trucks and SUV’s away from us. There are some real wackos out there trying to say that people like us are EVIL for having trucks and SUV’s or anything that sucks up a lot of fuel and not just the environmental wackos that have stock in horse breeding facilities. Now it’s some churches doing it as well. I have not yet found out what stock they have put their money into yet.
It’s something to do with we EVIL people are destroying mother earth and each other by driving these vehicles designed by the DEVEL. I see it like this, mother earth is fine, she always has been and always will be. It is like some of these people freaking out about the tanker that sank off of the coast of Spain. There are like “oh my GOD” if this tanker leaks oil into the ocean they are going to die. Man that is funny. I would remind them that during world war II there were hundreds upon hundreds of ships sank at sea they all leaked their oil and we are all still alive today.
I am just posting so any of you that may be worrying about Jesus disowning you because you have a truck or SUV not to worry about it. These freaks mentioned something about Jesus wouldn’t want us owning these EVIL things because of the bible and the 10 commandments. Well though I am no expert on the entire bible I do know about the 10 commandments. I guess there has been an 11th commandment added that states:
“thy shall not drive a truck or SUV”
Don’t know when that got in there but if any of you could update me and the new bible version that has come out I would love to pick up a new copy so as to refresh myself to the 11 commandments.
Oh, I had a little talk with Jesus last night and he told me he would drive a Ford lighting if he were here. Told him don’t stop by my house for a ride since I don’t own a lighting, just a 01 sport 4.2 flareside, but that sometimes people confuse it for a lighting…
So what say you? What do you think Jesus would drive?

I saw that fellow on Fox today.
I also am not a regular church attender, but am a believer. One of the reasons I am no longer a regular attender is because of issues such as this.
I personally don't think Jesus wants his own vechicle. The way I understood it, Jesus wants us to invite Him into our lives. And He is always there with us. I know sometimes we all forget that, but always remember to call on Him when we have a close call!
I have seen lots of those bumper stickers "God is my co-pilot". I think Jesus is always along for the ride........and I think He is more concerned with how we drive and and the journey we are on than the vehicle we get around in.

Group Targets Car Pollution Via Ads
(AP) - Car buyers in four states will soon hear a religious appeal to their environmental conscience: "What would Jesus drive?" A Pennsylvania-based environmental group is planning television advertising in North Carolina, Iowa, Indiana and Missouri to urge consumers to park their pollutive SUVs — Jesus would prefer a cleaner auto, the group contends. "Economic issues are moral issues. There really isn't a decision in your life that isn't a moral choice," said the Rev. Jim Ball, executive director of the Evangelical Environmental Network

I personally like to believe that, Jesus would prefer to drive a White 4x4 Lincoln Navigator. I can't imagine him in a little electric car.
I also have a feeling that Jesus' car don't need no gas to run

We know Jesus was a smart guy, so for sure he wouldn't drive a Chevy.
He'd probably need an extended E350 van to haul around his 12 buddies.

He might drive a Chevy now and then as a jesture to the not-so-smart people that drive the Chevy's, you know to say to them that he loves them as well.
Of course when he drove the Chevy as a peace jesture he'd have someone behind him in a FORD tow-truck...
