Green_98 you're a great guy but, we never seem to have a 'meeting of the minds'.

When I said cheap I was refering to this:
"Talk about a waste of my friggin money and my gf's money."

When I was young, if I took my gf to a movie and she bought her own ticket, I knew when she went to her next movie she would have a new bf.

Something About Mary
and any other movie w/ Cameron Diaz in it.

After Charlie's Angels we made a new rule at our house:
NO CAMERON DIAZ MOVIES ALLOWED

I would have to say "Man On the Moon". There are probably more, but thats the only one on my mind.

I had a g/f one time that i didnt spend a dime on. Sure, she spent some money on me. But, i never even gave her my phone #. I think i did pretty good of staying out of a close relationship with that one.

Titanic was the most utterly horrible movie to ever be played in my VCR. The boat sank GET OVER IT! (I actually had a shirt that said that; wore it all the time after the movie came out.)

A close second would go to The Talented Mr. Ripley. That movie was just plain weird.

Ever been to a movie that got high reviews and when you saw it you went - "Huh?"

'Punch Drunk Love' Adam Sandler, it's out there now, trying to get your 7 dollars.
Don't go unless you are in a forgiving mood.
Don't go if you are already pissed about something else, this movie would be considered 'piling on'.

I guess that is one of the things that motivated me to start this thread. You see a trailer on TV or in the theater for a film and it looks good; after you hand over your $7.00 you find out the only good parts were the 90 seconds in the trailer.

Unhappy

Hah! Like I get to pick a movie.
Taking my wife to the theater is my penance for watching football on Sunday.

After "Jack ***" everyone was walking out of the theater and didn't say a word. Kinda an odd mood in the walkway.

Most everything starring Adam Sandler doesn't even warrant my watching it on broadcast tv.

I avoid anything with Tom Green.

How can anybody hate the man who brought us the Orgasmatron (Woody Allen)?

Then, there's that awful Stanley Kubrick directed Tom Cruise movie that I can't even remember the name of. Man, that movie was awful.

I took my gf to see Mr. Deeds, thought it was sub-par for Sandler, hes usually really funny. the only reason i even wanted to see it was the red vettes in the trailer, which were only in like the last 30 seconds of the movie yeah Something About Mary sucked too, as did The Titanic...the boat sinks LOL...i actually knew ppl that went to see it in the theaters 5 and 6 times
