Tracking The Truck
Tracking The Truck
i wanted to know how can i track my truck on the rail system.
i know it's a little obsessive but it's my first new vehicle (thank god it is a truck) and being impatience is really an understatement.
the VOPC says that it was shipped via rail carrier on 10/19 and is sched for arrival on 11/03.
any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

That's asking a lot, I don't think it's possible.
Take a deep breath and relax, you waited this long, another few days to a week aint gonna matter (you're almost over the hump)
now exhale
You wanna hear obsessive?
When I ordered my truck, I told the salesman that if he gets me my truck with under 10 kilometres on it, I would shoot him a $100 bonus.
When I got it, it showed 8.9 Kilometres on it (5.5 Miles)
HAHA
Yeah, so I wasted an extra C note, but to me it was worth it.
I didnt want everyone at the dealership roadtesting it, and stomping on the gas beforehand.
Also, I didnt let them wash my truck either (the thought of some pimply faced kid washing it in the back with a pushbroom didnt appeal to me)
I also told them ahead of time not to put any dealer stickers, logos, decals, badges or anything of the sort on it.
They did put a dealership license plate bracket on, but soon as I got it, that came off and went in the trash pile.
Chill out dude, it will all be over before you know it.

if there is a will there is a way.
i called Norfolk and gave them my VIN # they gave me Union Pacific’s phone number and CAR #.
i called them and found out my truck is located only an hour away!
it's in Mira Loma, CA.
i'm assuming it will be at the dealer tomorrow but you never know when they will load it in their trucks and deliver the equip.
ahhh, i can relax now.
