Turn on the news!!!!!!!!!!!
Tidy bit of police work. Amazing how a clue led them to Alabama, then to Washington State, and back to the East Coast. Took all of what? 2 hours to locate the car?
At first, I thought the sniper was going to get away with it, but then they started leaving notes and calling the police and asking for money! At that point, I think it was pretty clear they would get caught. In fact, the way it sounds, they got caught because they told the police where to look!
Lucky this didn't turn into a long drawn out search like what happened with the Unabomber. At the rate these two guys were killing, who knows how many more victims there would have been in the next few months.
Sure hope the cops did everything "by the books" 'cause it would be a damned shame if these guys get off on a technicality.
Imagine being the lawyer(s) defending these guys. It would be like the guy who defended Timothy McVey. How do you defend America's most hated criminal and not have some of it rub off on you?
