maybe you should bunk your beds. I invested in a flat panel screen and i have plenty of desk space but my computer tower is on top of my dresser. We have so much extra room with the beds bunked its rediculous...

lol.

Actually what I was thinking is:

Fancy computers with flat screen moniters, late model f-150s, etc. combinded with being in college! Something isn't right here?

I drove 15 year old cars all through college and on my senior year I aquired a hand-me-down P75 computer. Hey that was heaven to me!

My typewriter fit just fine on the desk in my dorm room. Is your computer bigger than an Underwood?

Are dorms getting smaller? In a word, "No." It's the students who are getting "fatter" in more ways than one. Students in the past had few personal items. Students today require moving vans.

Our doorm rooms have plenty of room. I have a starndard room, but dont have a room mate, so a single room. So, I have 2 desk and all. The laptop doesn't take up much room, but the printer and scanner takes up a little.

Join the Air Force, the dorm rooms here are getting bigger. Supposed to be a better quality of life and moral.

I live on the second floor, and it kicks ***. Lived on the 11th floor my first year, and elevators are the biggest pain.

Is that the only desk you have? Where do you write? Where do you put the pizza and beer bottles?

When I was in a dorm, our desks were built in and went across the room under the windows. It was the equivalent of two standard sized office desks, though not quite as deep. Had drawers on both sides too.

BTW, things sure have changed. When I was in college, I was proud that I had my own Smith Corona portable electric typewriter and didn't have to fight over the clunkers in the library.
