I was hit by a drunk driver on sat night he was going about 70-75 I was going about 5-10 he rear ended me and slid me into a guard rail so my air bags popped of course and the little bastard kicked his passenger out and took off!!!!! Then I run over to the passenger ask him "Hey where is your boy going" his answer was "I just met him tonight I don’t know him" how f*cking convenient. Fire trucks get there then ambulance I head out to the emergency room (all that is wrong with me is air bag burns *luckily*) .They never caught the driver but some guy followed him and got the plates but wait IT GETS BETTER!! The car was stolen *gasp* my truck looks like hell and still no driver. Anyone know of any tricks to get them to total my truck???? The estimate is about 8,000 and my truck is/was a 2002 F-150 S-cab 4-Door Sport. I have only had it for approx 7 Months. Frame is bent tailgate dented rear bumper gone was pushed under the truck bed slammed into the cab and front end is torn to sh*t.


THERE WERE NO MARKS ON MY BABY TILL THEN!! I had also just finished installing a keypad on it not on there but 10 mins and then this happened.



MOTHER F*CKING BASTARDS!!!!!!!!!!!! btw I'm a little upset so I have to vent here. I feel like I’m the one at fault feels like no one who can help is on my side at all. Again sorry but I had to vent.

 

It's really the pits when stuff like that happens. Glad you weren't severely injured.

What I want to know is what the guy was driving! How did it keep running after it hit you going that fast?

Talk about bad luck. Be careful though Ascii. If he's a teen-ager and gets caught he might just say that he didnt know the consequences of his actions, and use that as a defense . Seriously, if the frame is bent, that could be ALOT more than 8K damage.

 

Yea body guy said was bent in 2 places but along the same rail front driverside was bent up and rear driverside was bent up he slid under my back end i went right he went left i found a gaurd rail he found an empty parking lot.

 

Glad to hear your ok! That is a good thing. If and when they catch the guy he should get 20 years min. in prison for what he did. hopefully "Big Baba" will teach him a lesson in prison while he is being bent over.

Of course some people may say 20 years is a bit much. Personally I don't think its enough I think they should go away for life (yes first time or not). If you gave ever drunk drive life in prison for an accident trust me you wouldn't see drunk driving anymore.

As a side note, I am not expert here but I thought if the frame was bent that it would be considered totaled? That must not be the case? I know were I use to live if you car caught on fire once the fire department got there they would ask if it was insured, if you said yes they would let it burn, controlled of course, but would let it burn so it would be totaled. Reason being they said you can never get the burnt smell out.

I had a run in with a drunk driver... well you could (they) he had a run in with me. The bastards, yes bastard(s). 2 of them in a 63' chevy pickup, ran through the downstairs portion of my house. They went through the brick wall (also 1ft. of concrete blocks), wall studs, and drywall, then came through the house and almost killed my Dad and I! We were both sitting in the room that they crashed through. After the impact, it looked like a charge of dynamite went off in the living room. An sounded like it too. This happened July 19, 2002. We now have our house ALMOST built back the way it was. But I just thank God for sparing our lives. I too HATE drunk drivers! Those two bastards should pay for what they did to us! Grrrr! If I ever see one of them again, I'll beat the holy living ***** out of there F*&%$#@ a$$es! Sorry for the rant. I just had to let a little steam out.

 

It is a Florida thing, I guess. The leader of the motorcycle club I am in was hit by a drunk driver Saturday night in Venice. He and his wife were on their Harley Ultra Classic. They were leading a group dinner ride with a few other bikes. They took off from a green light and the 66 year old drunken scumbag (liberal) ran a red light and hit them. One of the other bikers chased the SOB down and the cops arrested him. The husband had leg surgery to repair a leg broken in 4 places and the wife was Bayflighted to Bayfront medical center to have emergency surgery for internal bleeding. There is no justice for this POS. I am sure his liberal attorney will find some loophole and try to get him off. Something stupid like he wasn't read his rights or something.

I say skip the trial, poor sulfuric acid down the guys throat and put him in an acid proof container on a plane to Milwaukee. Once the plane is there, poor the contents of the container down the mens room toilet at the HD plant. And flush this loser.

Hey liberals, you better pull your heads out of your asses and pick on DUI offenders for a while. Leave the smoking in restaurants issue for a while and focus on something that REALLY can hurt you. I love these anti-liberal rants. It's like hearing about a vendor in a gun show shooting a kid to death by handling loaded (illegal in gunshows) handgun carelessly (illegal anywhere). And people at Bob Barr political rally hitting the decks because Bob and a crony were handing a loaded gun back and forth and accidentally discharging it. I was going down a winding road at 1am. There was a sharp curve to the right, a car in front just cleared it and I saw headlights coming at a high rate of speed. I knew the driver wouldn't make it, I could see the dust flying up as he went off the road. I only had a milisecond to decide, trees and ditch on my side. I floored it to get by before he slingshoted into my lane. Sure enough, he shot behind me jumped the ditch, missed the trees and took out a brick wall. When I found a place to turn around the guy that was in front of me was there. He said, "I thought you were a goner!"

We went back, door open, blood everywhere, no driver.
The next day I found white paint on the left rear corner of my bumper.

If I had hit the brakes it would have been a frontal-offset.

 

The reason most people bash liberals, including myself, is because liberals and their mind set our responsible for most of the problems we have. Including drunk drivers.

Liberals think everything should be equal, and fair. That nobody is at fault for thier actions but rather something or someone else is responsible. For drunk drivers liberals would say that nasty rich bar owner, or store owner is responsible for the druck having the beer to begin with.

Problem with liberals is they DO NOT believe in "Personal responsibility"

 

Everyone is responsible for his/her own actions if someone says other wise it's bs now according to the law though since a minor doesnt know his/her rights (yea right) the parents are the ones liable for the childs actions i dont believe that it should be that way. The kid would know that x isnt right and y will happen if x occurs NO ONE IS THAT STUPID to not understand this (excluding very very young children) you know the difference between right and wrong by the age of 5 or 6 if not sooner. Some may agree some may disagree but i know by the age of 5 or 6 i knew it was wrong to steal i knew that i would have the ***** beat out of me if i stole something. Everyone just needs to stop trying to hide behind other people.


Btw more on topic they have yet to call me back to say if they caught the kid trooper has made no contact with me since monday even though he said "i will call you tomorrow" (tues) its now wednesday and i left another message still nothing. So i guess in the future i will run up to anyone who hits me and make sure they are ripped from their car and dont move until someone "important" arrives and tells me to let them go. Then i will be the bad guy i guess. There is no winning when hit by someone who leaves in a stolen car. All i know is the passenger knows the driver as Derrick. I think the pasenger knows more than he is saying but thats me im not the cop i didnt go to school for this ill let them handle it then come and tell me i was right.
