Anyone going to the Fall Hunting Classic at Bass Pro in Springfield, MO this weekend? It is one of my yearly "things to do" (along with the DU Great Outdoors Fest, and various opening days ) that I just don't miss. Tons of people there, with vendors from everywhere set up and displaying their wares. Lots of seminars from hunting experts - folks like Bill Jordan, Mark Drury, Ralph Ciancirulo (sp?) and others. Other activities include 3D archery tournament, skeet/trap contests, etc. Usually some good deals on things too - not that I go there to spend money. Think Dale Jr is going to be there this year. It all starts tomorrow, and runs through Sunday, with a moonlight madness sale thrown in there one night.

 

well if I wasnt moving into college tommorow I would be there in an instant. I love going to the bass pro shop, and its even better when there are special events going on. Oh well maybe I can cut out on orientation a little early

 

I would sure enjoy going to the show, or one like it, but we just don't have things like that in California.
