Call the authorities - Im gonna kill someone.

Ok, so as some of you know, Im into this F150 at a local dealership and I was 99% sure I was gonna buy it. I purchased it today. So anyways, me and my dad go outside and hop in his truck this morning to go do the final paperwork. So we back out of the drive way and OH MY MOTHER****ING GOD I NEED A SHOTGUN IM GONNA KILL SOMEONE AND MAKE THEM EAT THEIR OWN INSTESTINES! My Bronco that I am trading in WAS SMASHED ON THE DRIVER SIDE DOOR! Ive had it for over 2 years, no problems at all. And the night before I trade it in someone busts the whole drive side door in! Oh, and yeah I had minumim coverage on that POS, and no1 left a note or anything! So yeah Im basically screwed out of half my trade in value.

Anyways, update -

As we are at the dealership discussing my new payment plan and how to make up for the cost of the repair, my little bro calls from home telling us that my new neighbor sent a note over with all his insurance info! IT WAS THE NEW NEIGHBOR WHAT A TURD! Of course he waited until 5 or 6 hours later to admit to it. But now his insurance is gonna cover it and deal with it at the dealership, so we kept the original pricing

Oh and while they still purdy up my F150 for me, they loaned me a 2002 Chevy Silverado - very nice lil truck, but my F150 seems to have MUCH larger ***** if you know what I mean!

Sorry for all the confusion, Im just so excited about my truck!

-Bob

Oh yeah check out the hummer my dealership guy drove us home in! See sig

Well, the odd thing is, earlier in the morning there was a masonry crew across the street installing a brick wall with a flatbed truck. The upper portion happened to be red, which matched up with the color of the swipe on my bronco. So I was damn close to going to beat the hell out of some contractor running a job full of illegals. LUCKILY my dad calmed me down and said dont worry about it cuz the crew was scheduled to be back later. And yes, if my neighbor didnt say anything about it and later I found it was him, he's have to buy a new house cuz his would be in pieces. Oh, and oddly enough, it was in his new F150!!!!!! that he nailed my bronco which I was trading for an F150 - the irony of it. My golly gee whiz.

At least your neighbor came through in the end. I wouldn't get too upset over it, especially considering everything turned out okay. Most people wouldn't have even owned up to it.

As for why the delay, only your neighbor can answer that one. There may have been a legit reason, such as an emergency, so don't go flying off the handle just yet.

He probably figured since he left paint, and there's a scratch on his truck, there's no way he could have gotten away with it, lol! Plus he just moved in, no more money to move somewhere else that quick, hehehe. Glad it was taken care of,,,,98
