Dang Nick who pee'd in your cheerios this morning???

LOL, man you never come over to this side and the first time I see you post your flaming the whole thread...Poor 98 didn't see it coming.

In my opinion. I'd be glad that the guy did come back and leave a note. He' proably gotten away with it if he hadn't. I know I had someone smash in the side of my comapny car a couple of years ago. I mean they hit it hard and no note or anything. It does feel like you've been punched in the stomach.

SO be glad it's getting fixed and good luck with the new truck....

Notes left on cars don't always mean much... "I hit your car, Sorry". Stopping to leave it made it look legit though.

My apologies for coming off the way that i did guys, I guess someone may have pee'd in my wheaties, but after reading those first few posts, i found it quite disturbing the lack of respect for another human, and no i'm not awbtooth, but even in jest, that was pretty harsh words. Yes i do have a sense of humor, be it twisted at times, but without sounding like a total wus, the world is screwed up enough as it is, i don't think that we need to add to the madness. I'll step down from my soap box now, and again apologize for my rude behavior.

Goober ya got lucky....
And it ain't over yet.
Has the guy's insurance company paid on it?
Without a police report and documentation who's to say that it didn't happen elsewhere? Insurance folks are really lawyers in sheeps clothing.
I got screwed like that once before and for a while decided that rather than do "the right thing" next time I'd tap dance on the offenders hood and get my evens that way.
Fortunately, I've grown up some since then.
And Dennis, I'm on your side. When I read a bunch of reactionary BS on here I know I'm hearing someone who talks a good talk but don't necessarily have the ***** to follow through.

Momule - nope, they havent paid up yet, nor have they called. They were supposed to call today to set up a meeting to view the damage.

And in response to "not having the ***** to follow though", Ive got a record to back me up, sadly. I do have an extreme anger management problem I suppose I ought to look into some help? I dunno.

*Edit* to avoid looking like a COMPLETE moron - I never do the bad thing first. As you pointed out, Mo, its all reactionary. Im a good guy, just cant take being wronged more than once in a day ya know? Things kind of compound and add up and kablooey - the stuff hits the fan

Going to have to agree with itsnik here to a certain extent.

When someone hits your car and then contacts you about it within a few hours.... its not a big deal. I can completely understand the initial calls for the guy to pay dearly for hit and run, but after finding out it was a neighbor that gave all his insurance information and everything....

THAT is when the 'well if he doesn't pay up I'll F him up' talk should cease. I mean, the guy did everything he needed to and gave you his insurance info... he has probably already called his insurance company to report it... and yet you guys are talking about burning his house down and taking a chain to his car.

Let's try to grow up a bit, shall we? I hate to sound belittling...because I fully understand how upset I would have been at first not knowing who hit it and how I was going to get it paid for, etc...

But talk about kicking a contractor's ***, or using some hack codes to screw the guy up is just plain childish.

Where is that thread about kids getting trucks?
