this is about the F150 chat. i've been there like the last few nights and no one is ever there any more. i was wondering why. for those of you who are new and dont know about it, its every night after 9 PM EST. i talked to Cowlady and she won't be there for a while for personal reasons. anyways...read this a reply. i want to get chat started up again

I don't understand why chat dies off like it does. I have watched it "from afar" all week & haven't seen it being used.
I shouldn't HAVE to be there for the rest to come to chat - I've said it MANY times - THIS IS F150 ONLINE CHAT - NOT COWLADY CHAT! I am NOT a good reson to go there - our trucks are. It shouldn't matter who is there & isn't.
I went in last nite & quite frankly, I was in no mood to be there. I should be there tonite since I recruited 2 brothers to join the site & told them to stop by chat - maybe they will make use of it & keep it going. If they show & you are there please make them feel at home.
Now, I'm in a rather down mood lately for reasons I won't go into but there's going to be many nites when I can't make chat or just plain don't feel like it. I am expecting the rest of the chat regulars as well as those of you who never tried this chat to be there & to use it.
I don't mean to sound bossy but if I really am the reson people come to chat & if all of you like me or care as much as you say you do then darnit, USE CHAT while I'm not there. Allow me the "time off" that I need right now, ok?. Heck, if this were a job I'd get time off or OT! I love chat but I just don't want to be there right now ok? IT IS NOT ANY OF YOU! I just have other stuff going wrong in my life & I need time to hide away.
I feel conceited to say this but don't wait for me to be in chat & don't let it die off either or someday, when I'm ready to be there all the time again there will be no chat to go to.

Cowlady, you have to at least enter the chat room and say:

"I won't be here tonight.
Talk amongst yourselves.
I'll give you a topic."
(then, just make something up off the top of your head)

(and don't make it easy, assign them something like femine hygene)

I tried to go on last night about 2pm est. There were two there. I don't have a whole lot of experiance with the chat rooms and couldn't figure out how to respond (I'm not as dumb as a stump, just not too bright sometimes). So If you were one of the two there last night that said "hey", I wanted to say "hey" but by the time I figured out how you all were gone.
One of the problems I have in a chat room is I can't keep up. I am not a two finger typer but I could use a little more speed!

Hey cowlady it's your old friend was a little concerned about you so I thought I would drop by and say hello

 

i havent been in a chat room since internet first became a household staple (remember flashnet anybody?) but ive been driving this 2004 f150 for years and while gas mileage sucks, i love it when little cars hit me and total their cars while i walk away with barely a scratch. that's what they get for hitting me. im not a car buff or mechanically inclined, so i came on here to ask for help in another forum but wanted to check this out, i could stand to learn from some wisdom from people that know what their talking about instead of the usual "its ur battery..no its ur alternator" and getting ripped a new one at the shop bc im s silly woman so take her for all we can!
