i was just listening to the radio and this rap song came on that i never heard before. i was too lazy to change it so i just listened to it. i dont really listen to the words but i caught the guy sayin something about a "hennesy viper" kinda intresting that hennesys car was just named in a rap song and he is probably goin out of business soon. speaking of, does anyone know whats goin on with those lawsuites? anyway, just thought that might be intresting...well maybe not...im goin to shut up now

 

Whys he going out of business? He just produced a 1000HP Viper that will sell for $195,000 and hes going out of business?

 

He'll be going out of business because he is being sued by many many viper owners who have been defrauded. He has been accused of even blowing up an owners engine on a test drive. He apparently was testing a new NOS system on a customers' car. Great guy.

 

He has made so much money that there is no way he can go out of business. I mean a normal viper is like 70+ his bull**** markup he makes double.

yea ive heard story upon story of people being screwed out of HUNDREDS of thousands of dollars, henessey is goin down the hole, no doubt about it

 

you would think that the people who were screwed by hennesy would have ceratin "friends" that would make the situation better. i read a story about a guy who saw a viper, liked how they looked and how fast they were, then went out the next day and bought one, i think it was like 75k. right then he called up hennesy and had it shipped to him. he gave hennesy something like 125k for the work he wanted to have done on his new viper. so this basically had 200k sitting in hennesys shop. well after getting *******ed around with for a few months he decided to take an unnanounced(sp?) trip down to hennesys shop and guess what he found. i think the viper had been there for 10 months. the hood was sold(viper hoods are bank), wheels and tires sold, engine out but just sitting there, no work had been done to it. so naturally this guy was pissed and him and his frined ended up getting aressted because mr. hennesy himself called the cops on them for not leaving his shop. well of course they got out the next day and then joined the other people in their class action lawsuit against hennesy. so basically, hennesy is goin down.
