Monster Garage on Discovery channel

Anybody watch this tonight (Sunday)? Looks like they will have shows all week long. The show is pretty cool and I like the antics of Jesse James. I think the show is a bit too commercialized and a sell out to Junkyard Wars. Kind of like the reality TV blitz on broadcast television.

I watched both shows tonight. Very cool ideas they were given. I agree, it seems like a jazzed up version of junkyard wars. But you have to give them credit to make these things work. The idea of the gullwing on the Explorer was pretty interesting. What part does Jesse have on the show? Stirring up the pot? I don't remember seeing him do any work.

It was a good show. I liked what they did with the limo. LOL The dump truck was very funny though. I wonder what they would charge me for that conversion. lol

I think the competition at the end is kinda chessy though.

Yeah, it's pretty cool...

but it also has its cheesy moments like the
competition at the end. As for Jesse doing no
work, I noticed that as well. He did contribute
some muscle on the Mustang/mower project though.
Overall, I give it a 6 on a scale of 1-10.

I saw the re-runs later in the week. Seems like it will be a pretty cool show. I'm not much on cutting up cars, but the things they did and the way they overcame some of the hard spots was pretty impressive.
I have to watch the Mustang Mower again, I fell asleep half way through.
