Movie Question

My girl and I watched the movie training day and we have a bet going about the car in the movie. I say it is a 70's model monte carlo and she says it's an 80's model. Who's right? If I am I win $50. Come on guys help me out.

Tough call but

I think its 80's. I remember as a kid my uncle had a '76 Monte and it was definitely the longer style. And my sister had an 84 Cutlass/ pretty much the GM sister car of the Monte and it looked very much like the one in the movie. So without being 100% sure because I don't know when they changed to the smaller body style...I'd lean towards 80's being the correct guess.

Did it have teh single headlights? I know the 76'd did.

It's a 78

My dad had the 78 olds cutlass that looked a lot like the 78 Monte Carlo.

Here's a quote from a the dailynews review of the movie...
