well i got a reply from ford from the e-mail i sent them the other night . they even called my house. " is this mr. b? " " yes it is" " sir at this time ford does not have a recall on your description of door cracks at this time" "so what i,m i to do about my door crack?
" "the dealer you purchased your truck from has a highly qualified body shop and they will be able to repair your doors and might i suggest that after you have the repairs done that you retain your reciept of the repair for the future in case ford does initiate a recall and you may submit it to ford for a possible refund"" but i feel this is a problem due in fact to fords production eginerring and thus should be handled by ford" " sir i,m not the one to make that determination at this time" " oh really" "if theres not any other questions thank you for being a ford owner and feel free to visit our showrooms to see our exciting new models, have a nice day"..... wweell i guess fords not all it,s CRACKED up to be...sigh

 

Your story makes me want to puke. I know alot of loyal Ford folks and one by one they are comming up with similar stories.
Call your local dealer for "quality" work...what a fricking joke.
The team of total rejects at the dealer In my neck of the woods are the dumbest bunch of don't give a sh#ts that ever got burped out of a womb......Geeze, I gotta get a grip here.
By the way...Middlekauf is the dealer I am talking about.
Those fools had my truck for 2 darned weeks to take out a couple of scratches...while telling me tommorrow all the while. I caught them trying to rip me off for a repair on paint they did not have to do by doing a "pop in".
"Take it to your dealer", what a joke. Take it down to the local high school...you'll get better work.

By the way, from one of your posts...you may be in my neighborhood....Red River/Legacy area of Plano.

If Ford does not get their head pullers working, we will play hell selling our trucks down the road...people are beginning to switch because of the dealerships lack of service.

that was the jest of the conversation,rock. and yeah we,re pretty close(by texas standards that is),hillcrest and frankford, middlekaufe does the same to me too,had a repair done ext,of truck and it took three times before they close,then i took it over to prestige and paid out of my pocket to get it right. keep an eye out for me,97 ext,dark touridour red,gold skirting,tool box with american flag and ford sticker,flows rumbling,friends say i look like kenny rodgers(thier just being nice to my pig looking @ss )

 

The A/C company I own sends alot of mail adds in that area....
Plano A/C and Heat....If you see any of my service trucks hot rodding around town...call me and snitch them out...LOL.
