CO-Worker's got a '00 GTP with a re-programmed PCM, filter and pulley and consistantly hits 13.7's at the track. 13.58 was his best to date last I heard. He says he's trading it in on an L very soon.

With that said, I have never raced him, but have taken quite a few GTP's from a stop and from a roll... Nothing to brag about though...They were obviously stock.

 

Here are the cars that GTP's go after... this is straight from a GTP forum... Another post in the forum said "Stay away from anything with a V8... I laughed...

 

LOL Thats not exactly a list of fast cars. GTPs are supercharged but for the $ I would rather be behind the wheel of a mustang GT.

 

V6 Mustang's for lunch? That isn't a very satisfying Kill! My wife's new Taurus familymobile can really rip the V6 Mustangs a new one.

I drove a 2001 GTP before we bought the Taurus - personally I thought it was a slug. I wouldn't worry too much about them - even the modded ones.
