Electrical question - post here, elsewhere?

Anyways, I'll ask here but maybe you guys can helpme or tell me where to post it.

My door ajar warning is giving me problems. All doors can be fully closed, but sometimes it dings and comes on and the dome light doesn't always shut off right away when I park. Anyone else have this problem? I can't seem to find the sensor to adjust it.

Any help would be appreciated or direction on where to post. Thanks!

It would be better to post it in the eletrical forum, oh well.

The first thing i would look at is the plunger switch for each door. If the contacts are getting corroded it can cause those kinds of problems. Check and see if they move freely. A new switch runs like $15 for most trucks and only takes a few minutes to install.

Maybe 'General Care' would be a good place to post, but, I have read on here before that you spray WD-40 into the door jambs, and into the places where the sensors are, just load it down with WD-40, it will take care of it. Spray it in every direction inside the door jambs, should take care of your problem. I had the same problem a while back, and it did mine right. Good luck!
