One word of caution. Use the backup option before you delete anything.
Ad Aware is a great program but it has been known to flag legitimate files and registry entries as spyware. One example is on the last reference file update Ad Aware flagged a Norton CleanSweep file as being related to CometCursor. Deleting that file, which is not CometCursor, breaks Norton CleanSweep. Without a backup to restore from you would have to reinstall CleanSweep.
Another thing to be aware of when using Ad Aware. Removing the spyware might break the program that installed it. Let's use Kazaa as an example. When you install Kazaa, Webhancer comes along for the ride. Removing Webhancer *might* cause Kazaa not to work any longer.
Bottom line is use Ad Aware's backup option so if something gets removed that you need you can easily restore it.
