A Call to All Texans

If you hate the new 55 mph laws being forced down our throats by the EPA, then you'll want to read this.

Governor Rick Perry is interested in finding out what Texans think about the speed limit roll back to 55 miles an hour from 70.
(1-800-252-9600). Please call Governor Perry's office (1-800-252-9600) and let them know what you think about the speed limit being changed to 55 miles an hour. You may have to hold for a minute, but you will speak with a live person. It is fast and easy.

Please pass this on to as many Texans as possible.

PLEASE call today.

Also you can vote on the internet (and get a great deal of information) at:

I tried to call but cant from my area. I have a permanent address in Texas so Ill find the direct line and call to complain, thats absolutley ridiculous. I live in a far more envirmentaly hostile state now and no such thing is proposed.

Wow 55 is going to suck. That feels like walking. Will that be implimented on the highways too? If so then something has to be done. Iam sure that everyone is going to brake the law and exceed it. They need to rethink what they are doing!

if you ask me, a faster speed limit is safer. People are more calm. Instead of in a hurry and trying not to get caught by the cops for speeding.

I honestly can't believe that draconian bs. I think Dubya needs to roar his *** back down there in his F-250 and order some Special Forces to bitch-slap the EPA out of la-la-land.

What the hell is next riding in rickshaws? Of course having an Asian pull the rickshaw would be racially insensitive, and having an animal pull it would be animal cruelty, hmmm....guess I could always walk to work..
