I was just wondering what kind of guns people have. Mine is a stingray 2 (cheap) that has had the "port and polish" treatment. It isn't very accurate at range but up close if it doesn't shread the paintball it will go farily straight.

 

Well as you can see, I'm a paintball player!! Well let me see, I'll start with my very first gun.

Love the Cobra but it is getting on the old side, it is an 99' {just like my truck} LED Angel, so it has some use behind it. I've owned it for almost 3 years. I play on a Tournament Team, so I get out and play quite abit. My team is getting ready to start our season, we are going to be playing the IPL {Illinois Paintball League}. Well, it hasn't seen the light of day in about 1 yr (no time to play lately ) but mine is a Tippman 98. No upgrades unless you consider a remote tank kit an upgrade.

Well, to be precise it depends on the aftermarket company that has upgraded it. My Cobra was $1700 Brand New, but I bought it off a friend of mine for $1250. The new regualar Cobra Angel's are going for about $1700 with a one flat anadiozing color. But when you get into mutilply color designs on the Angels that pushes the dollar amount up to $2200+ !!! I've seen some of those. They are very sweet but I would never spend that kind of money on a gun. Unless I can get it for a really GOOD deal.

Yeah I play now and then. A buddy of mine was into it big about two-three months ago. I was all set to go out and buy a gun and he just kinda stopped playing. Heck anyways he had several guns and it was goofing off. I mainly used his Stingray and sometimes his 98 custom with remote kit and trigger kit. He then traded for some other gun I do not even remember. It's a fun game, like anything else it can soon rack up in $$$.

Hey just thought I'd add my .02 cents. I've been playing paintball for about 5 years now and I have gone through quite a few guns. I started with stingray, went to spyder SE, then to a mag', then auto****er, then dark angel, then SFL ****er and now to my Emag. Overall I love shooting an Auto****er but right now the Emag fits the style of game I play.

 

I think I will buy a paintball gun. I saw one for $21.99 at wallmart. Talk about a deal Iam not sure if it shoots at all for that price.
