Anybody else own a Glock?
I've been into guns since my first BB gun at age 10 and have owned Glocks for the past 4 years.
I currently own a 31. I've modified it by hard-chroming the slide, adding Tru-Glo fiber optic night sights, and an extended slide release. Gun is amazingly accurate and will shoot clover leafs at 7 yards, off-hand.

There is an awesome website for Glock owners that I frequent quite a bit (close to 1,000 posts!): http://glocktalk.com/
If you have any questions about your Glock, or anything, for that matter, check out this site.

I like Glocks because they are so much like a tool. They are simple, rugged, and reliable. I've owned 4 and never had any trouble with any of them.
They also point well for me and my .357 Sig is the most accurate auto I've owned.
I've also never shot an H&K or a Desert Eagle
. I've owned Berettas, S&W, Rugers and have shot Sigs, Walthers, Colts, and Brownings.
But the Glocks just seem to work the best for me.

Glocks are higher than Rugers, but less than Sigs and HKs. I paid $480 for mine, which is a full-size model. The mid-sized and compact models are about $50-$100 more.
Sigs and HKs run about $650 for theirs. Rugers are good, solid, reliable guns, but are a bit ugly (even uglier than a Glock) and "chunky", they retail for around $300-$400, depending on the model and current rebate program. Ruger autos are a great starter handgun for a novice.
Never, ever buy a S&W Sigma! They are cheap, too, but are absolute crap. My brother owns one and has nothing but trouble. I rarely hear about somebody who is happy with theirs.

I had a 23 but sold it, I bought an HK USP compact in 40 cal. My Favorite auto is my Sig 229 in .40. Its alot heavier than the HK, but it just has that feel.
I like stainless guns, and even the Sig is stainless, however it has a black finish. I got an early one with high cap mags, and they didn't have a stainless finish available then.

Good ole' big bore American .45 kinda guy I am. Besides high capacity is a 10 round magazine.
Actually I am not a huge Glock fan but my 30 is just about awesome and it is the first gun I grab if I need a nice concealable piece with plenty of firepower. Also the first I would grab should I be sloshing around in the woods or something.
No denying they make a fine firearm.
Ahh a Glock and an AK. Jams? Malfunctions? oh you have me mistaken with an AR15 shooter. :O)
BTW: I have pretty much figured out that all of us on this board are heavily armed, truck driving rednecks. I say that with love mind you.

GLOCK 21 all the way! Older one with the 13 round clip!
No better stopping power than 45 ACP!!
You point it at someone and they can see the +P Hydrashock hollow point!! (Heven't had to point it at anyone...yet)
