Not through barriers such as auto glass and sheetmetal. The .45 is an awesome defense caliber, but it also has its limitations. My .357 Sig G31 was chosen for it's exceptional accuracy, deep penetration, and because the Secret Service uses the .357 Sig to protect the President.
Also, Black Talons are not the best in defensive ammo design. Speer Gold Dots are a superior design, as are Federal Hydra-Shoks.
