It's hard to understand why this kind of stuff is still going on. It's like little kids huddling in their schools' bathrooms s******ing about the "other" school.

There's even one guy who says he only uses F150online to store his pictures to link to from there!

You're kidding me. You mean that some jerks on F150world are acting this way? Last I checked, I'm driving a Ford. That means when I am on any Ford-based forum, F150online, F150world, Ford-trucks, I am there to give and receive helpful info and insight.

It saddens me that some people are just so petty.

I can personally say that this site has helped me the most. The other members as well as the vendors have been a Godsend.

I saw that post too - I was going to answer but I decided not to just yet. I want to see how far they take it. I also wanted to wait till I was able to say something that wouldn't stir up all sorts of trouble for Steve & the site.
I just may suggest to the guy who uses this site to store pics so he can post them there that he try photoisland.com or another free site & delete his gallery from here. I can always point out he might be mistaken for a member here & be associated w/the rest of us. Ironically, MANY of us belong to both sites. I admit I do - I enjoy the balance they provide plus I have made some friends there & enjoy reading their posts. However I have about 1/4 the posts there as compared to here - guess my favoritism is showing!
Oh well - they are bragging that they're growing so fast - now if only they'd GROW UP just as fast!

I just added a post calling out Peties3, who said that this site is closing down. It's unbelievable that everyone ragged this kid so much for lying about having a Lightning and then when he actually gets one they ban him and then a member lies about this site shutting down and nobody says anything!

 

I have to say, that thread is the reason I like it HERE......Imagine that being posted over here? no way.....I think instead you'd have 20 guys/gals issuing invitations........oh well......Just one little point and really.....little.. I know the first names of as many people here as I do at work.....lol.....

Maybe because the sites name is put on every pic?
While I can see it for copyrighted pics, I think it is tacky, and well, Cowladys pics in her sig are an example of all I think one should see on a linked pic.

Hey what about our galleries!?

JJ, take a look at the thread below. It explains why you cannot post pictures from their galleries on this or any other site. Bandwidth, especially for images, can be a huge expense for sites like these and this is one way to combat that expense. Instead of allowing for the display of free advertisements for a site (which appear in the place of the image) the url to image is simply blocked here.

The best choice is to get a gallery up and running here or with a company that allows for posting on other sites if you want to post your pictures on F150online. Hope that clears up any confusion or concerns.

You know, I spent about 15 minutes checking to be sure the link was right, (which was way too much time on that site) then made sure you didn't put your name on images here, (I didn't think you did) then I started to add how I block hot linking also, but not for my owners ect.
Then decided I was "talking too much" so I shortened it.
I do mention the F150online galleries when ever somone is trying to get their images to show here from 'angelfire', 'geocities' and other sites nortorious for blocking outside linking.

 

F-150 World SUCKS They are way too big for themselves I think we should find nasf-150 gallery account that he has here and revoke it but that is my opinion since he is just "using us" as he so adequetely states it on F-150 World.... They are being 2 yr. olds with no brains.....

 

Ok, let's not drag ourselves down to that level, people. Let them think, believe and act the way they choose. We will choose otherwise...i.e. take the high road.

It was a thought and you are right webmaster now that I think about it would be dragging ourselves down to their level and we don't want that because we are better than them! and the ultimate payback is: BEING NICE TO THEM!!! hehehehe.......or something like that.......
