Your daughter is beautiful! How old is she? I bet she has Daddy wrapped around her finger! In fact, I can see you letting her drive the truck someday before your wife could!
As for your truck - AWESOME! I don't know why you said it wasn't a great shot - I sure thought it was! In fact I got my first & only ride in a silver L (EricS from here!) & I melted when I saw the truck! Sure classed up my Mom's driveway! Okay - so my truck looks pretty cool in the driveway too but seeing the 2 trucks side by side was quite an experience!
Thanks for going thru the trouble of taking the pics! I also noticed something else in them - YOU CAN SEE THE LAWN! Cool! I can't wait for May or June when you can see them here too!
I have links to my truck posted in the "show your truck pics here if you want to see how much snow we had over Christmas. As I write this I just heard we're getiing 2" - 4" of snow tonite. Darn! Can I leave my truck at your house till our winter is over? Please? LOL!

 

I too drive a L. Yes, that stands for Lightning. No, I don't think I'm better than anyone else because I drive a friggin' L.

Please don't take an attitude toward L owners, and act as if the habit of posting everything in the L forum is a character flaw-- It is simply the way things migrated. Many will change their posting habits and become integrated members with the f150online community. It's not as if we were purposefully hurting the site...many of us have a borderline fetish for this board, and will do what it takes to make it prosper. You will have a few that will be resistant to change, or who do have character flaws that are displayed when things don't go their way...some of those have already shown their ugly side.

For those who ever moved when you were a kid -- do you remember the feeling when you knew you were going to have to leave your friends and make new ones? Many of the L forum junkes are going through that same thing right now...it's not that you're not worthy friends, it's just that many will have to try and adjust to the new surroundings. Just take it easy and don't say inflamatory things that are sure to **** people off. I'm sure this thread is going to be just as interesting as it's counterpart in the L forum.

Thanks for the compliment about my daughter but it's my grandaughter. She's the only one I have (so far) and the sun rises and sets in her. She tells everybody that her Papaw drives a race truck. Shelby is almost four years old now.

"Cowlady" on your radiatior shroud would be the bomb! You need to get one. Tom Hingle at Billetandacrylic.com made it for me along with the tailgate emblem that's in my gallery images.

I have to give all the lawn credit to my wife. She won't even let me cut the grass! What a woman!! She's so picky about the lawn that she's gonna kill me when she finds out that I drove on it. I'll take my chances though.

Sure you can leave your truck at my house! I wouldn't have it any other way. I have an empty spot for it in the garage. From this point on I consider us friends??? Thanks soooo much for being so nice. Snow? ~~~Shiver~~~

Sorry about the mix up w/your grandaughter! I guess I just thought you were SO young because of your posts & the fact you drive an L! In fact, I"m always surprised when I read about the guys trucks to find out they're above college age - you all have such "youthful exuberance"! I'm glad to see she's so smart & recognizes your truck for what it is! I have a 4 yr old nephew who LOVES to ride "in the BIG black truck" as he calls it! He'd been afraid at first till he rode in it - now he can't wait & when I visit he tells my sister she doesn't have to pick him up - he wants to ride in the truck!
Sorry about the lawn! if your wife is upset maybe you can tell her I'm going thru withdrawal - it's been awhile since I saw my lawn so it really brought back fond memories when I saw yours! Thanks for that! As soon as I can find decent weather I'll post new pics of mine but don't sit by your monitor waiting - it's gonna be awhile! Oh & thanks for the offer to let me leave the truck there - if the weather breaks I'll take a ride out! Put on a pot of coffee ok? LOL!
