Ohhhoo BABY!!!!!

Went to the Ford dealer today and test drove a '02 FX4. Oooo, Sweet Jesus. Man, it was nice. It handles the corners like a champ (for a truck at least), have a great ride to it, soaked up bumps really well. Real good pedal feel for the brakes, and the acceleration was more than adequate. I MUST HAVE ONE!! I almost put a deposit down on it, but thought I should check around a little more to see if i can get one cheaper. This one was awesome though. Forget the F-250 SD, i want an FX4

Hehe...I know what you mean. I had a 4x2 supercrew lariat but I didnt' care for the ride. It didn't handle bumps all that well, but it was the highway driving that I didn't like. It was too floaty and I got blow around pretty good in high winds or crosswinds caused by other vehicles. With the FX4 it handles it much better. Not only just the handling, but it feels different. Steering, ride, pedals...I dunno how to describe it. Good luck on your search!

 

Ill take the Super Duty over any Truck on the road HOWEVER, for my family ride Im going to replace the Expedition with an Fx4 Supercrew.

I was originally going to buy used, but now i'm not sure. It's gonna take some arm twisting to get a '02 FX4, but it'll be worth it if i can work out all the details
