What Radar and Laser Detector do you suggest?
Hi,
I dont have enought money to buy the Valentine One Radar so could someone give me some suggestions on which radar to purchase?

Look in this months issue of car andd driver, they did a product test of detectors.

Around $300. That's what I got.

Look for either a BEL 950, 970 (LR), or 980 new on ebay, they go for pretty cheap and have alot of good features for the money.

I have a BEL 950 and it's indispensible!

*EDIT* it costed $166 after shipping, a deal imho!

One of the highest rated is the Passport 8500. Still U$299 but you get a 30 trial and your money back if you don't like it.
I like mine - approximated donut tax savings so far: U$ 2800.
