Specialization is For Insects

A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects. (RAH)

Ya gots your queen bee, ya gots your worker bee, ya gots your drone that does "it" once and croaks. Ya gots the bug that only eats the dead skin in your eyebrows... what a thought.

Beastrider,...

are you one of those fancy-smancy bug
experts? You sure know an awful lot
about insects. I've never heard of the
"dreaded" eyebrow bug. It was sure
nice to hear about him after my lunch
though.

Nope... not me... read about this one time... a woman who was obsessed with cleanliness was shocked to learn that tiny mites live in the hair follicles of her eyebrows and ate dead skin... she needed psychiatric care to get better... now I know who is drinking my beer when it splashes into my face... these damn little bugs.

Thumbs up Usefull insects

In Dutch horticulture it is very common to use insects.
No need for pesticides to get rid of the nasty bugs.
We just use there natural enemies.
Most of them are very small,it is hard to see them.
But they are very effective.

Here is Encarsia Formosa

who takes care of the white fly.

Ladybugs are imported from the USA, they take care of the lice.

I find it best not to spend a lot of time thinking about the teensy, weensey bugs that crawl EVERYWERE - I like to think about the LITTLER bugs that crawl on them!! - and then the even LITTLER BUGS that crawl on them - and then the EVEN LITTLER BUGS that crawl on them - AND THEN -

Oh never mind - the voices are speaking to me now.
