lowlikewhoaf150 i'm not saying you'd be crazy to do it to a new truck like some here. after all that's where many ideas come from for the next gen of vehicles.
however wouldn't it be silly to do all that work just to create a vehicle that already exists. yes the body lines may be slightly different, but, overall you can just buy that vehicle.
as far as money, the price of building it plus your time would be much more then the amount of money you would lose on a trade. yes it sucks to lose on trade, but sometimes you have to take the lesser of two evils. losing some, or spending even more.

good luck with it if you do try though.

What would be interesting to see? An F-150 with an Expy or Navi back end, but open like a truck bed. I know it would add a big difficulty factor over puttin just the Expy back on, but what a draw it could be at the shows,,,,98

if it were open wouldn't it just be an f150 then.
unless of course you meant with a convertible top. that would be cool.think of the summer time cruising in that thing

Well.....

After looking at those Excursion pictures I can see where you are coming from. I guess I'll just never have the money to experiment like that but if you do, all the power to ya. How about trying it on a little bit older of a model where the loss wouldn't be as much if it doesn't work out as you'd like?

That Excursion mod did look cool in a way but I guess I'm still kind of like the old school in some sorts. Don't care much for low rider trucks, defeats the whole purpose of having a truck. But again, never had the money and propably never will to just have something like that for show purposes. Good luck whatever you do.

Thumbs up

How about a two door Expy? Lots of work involved, much if not more than chopping the Excursion, but it would turn some heads, lol! Ford should have never stopped making the Bronco. If they had carried it over into the 97-up bodystyle, it would have taken off again saleswise. Instead, they left the old body until it was too late to recover. Hear that Ford? Bring back the Bronco!!,,,,,98

Man, talk about a rollover waiting to happen, LMAO!!! It would make a Montero look like a GTP racer If you lengthen that a little, you see what I'm talking about. Looks GREAT!!!!,,,98
