If you want to know, ask a local! Northumberland ( The land to the north of the river Humber ) is an English region which includes the eastern side of the country between Newcastle and the Borders ( Scottish/English border region).

This movie was filmed all over. The outside scenes were at one place, the hallway scenes were somewhere else, the classroom's were somewhere else, Privet drive was actually at privet drive, etc.
