Phillip, throw two lounge chairs in the back and ask'em what they'll give for your King Ranch.

phillipsvt,

it's still there. they haven't put it on the lot yet. they took the Lightning badges off and put on XLT badges.
if you see me in Stillwater (97 silver f150 w/ ram air hood and wing on the tonneau) give me a honk. I'm the one who drives around town like a maniac.

Raoul,
what can I say, I had to find a better boyfriend. Actually I met this one a year after patrick and I broke up. it started off pretty good - he had a ford, I had a ford........but he was just a gm man deep down.

hey ponysix8: hlad to see you back. we wouldn't forget one of our own would we?
great story. would hate to be the guy who appraised that one. you would think it would be his job to check for authenticity.
about the boyfriend, hey if he's gotta come out of a closet that's not the worst one to come out of probably drove a ford in the first place because we got the better lookin' gals driving fords.

on Friday, I stoped by and looked at the truck. The salesman looked at me strang when I told him someone told me that the truck has some lightning wheels, he said "I dont know what they are, i guess so" any way i looked at them and they would look good on my truck.

Hey Neal,

how's it going? traded in the other truck yet?
all my job requests were turned down, so I'm still going to school. I'm trying to get into grad school at OSU to get a master's. I'm working at Lowe's in Stillwater. I quit my job in Tulsa, so the only time I go to Tulsa is to the ortho (which my last trip will be next Thursday!!!).
Tell Mo I said hi.

Phillip,
he gave you a weird look b/c they don't really know what a L is. And now they all probably assume that anything that made them think the truck was a L is probably just imitation. they probably now think those are not real L rims. They don't understand the whole SVT thing, or they just don't know about it at all. That truck still isn't on the lot and its been there for a few weeks now. When my b/f traded in his lowered Ranger it was on the lot w/in a few days and sold a week later. I might ask my b/f to see if they will swap me rims, let me have the svt's for my eagles. but they probably won't.
Did you see the C3 Sierra? pretty truck w/ 5K miles for ~$34K.

Ummm... you'll have to be more specific. Which truck? I've still got the F350 Crew Cab. I think the last one that you saw was the F250 Super Cab. But, if that dealership over there is that gullible, I may just have to trade my extremely rare Lightning F350 on a... nah, I'd never trade it for a GM anything!!

So, now, instead of driving all the way down to 71st, we have to go to Stillwater to see you? Fine- is "Pancakes" still open? I don't know if it was the food, atmosphere, or cough*beer*cough, but I always loved that little greasy-spoon. Strange thing is that I only ate there at 3am after an extended visit at Tumbleweeds.

Mo says hi (and a few other supportive things).... blah blah blah.

Give us a holler
