How embarrassing!

There I am, laying in my own front yard, my feet tangled up in strips of tacky paper and to make it worse, there is a cat on my hood taking my picture!

You guys got to stop giving them ideas!

wildchild Nov 5, 2001 01:18 PM

raoul: you must have some pretty smart cats around your neighborhood. don't know if i'd be messin' wtih them :) :)

Raoul Nov 5, 2001 01:22 PM

They're smarter than I thought...

when I come out to go to work in the morning, the seat is all the way forward and the engine is warm.

wildchild Nov 5, 2001 02:00 PM

they must be cruisin' for... never mind i better leave that one alone:) as long as the seat isn't all the way back and the cushion warm you should be safe :D

How about you catch the kitty-kitty, them very carefully place a drop or two of crazy glue on each paw and place the kitty-kitty on the neighbors hood and simply hold for a few seconds. Now your neighbor has the problem of a kitty on the hood.:p

P.S. This is just a joke..HA HA people..

Is this the cat?

pacodiablo Nov 7, 2001 08:54 PM

super soakers work great. i use it to keep my cats off the dining room table (they are indoor only), but sometimes the stupid one just sits there while i spray him in the face :D

pacodiablo Nov 7, 2001 09:08 PM

i know those who suggested antifreeze were joking, but that is the worst way to kill any animal. my cousin's pet dog recently died of antifreeze poisning. the dog suffered for several days, then his condition worsened and he had to be put down. he was a great dog and will be missed greatly.

jwrape Nov 8, 2001 07:54 AM

Yes, Lord knows I shouldn't have said the antifreeze thing here. But as I said before, I have seen a neiborhood dog die from antifreeze. It was sad, the dog just kinda went limp and never really showed any energy or willingness to move. It is ugly, but luckly I was only kidding. POOR Dennis thought I was serious. Bless his little heart!:D
I've learned my lesson, never say anything, even joking about someones animals, it will be BLOWN out of control on this board.
NO hard feelings(I hope) Those annoying cats will live to scratch another truck.

I know this is at the end and nobody will make it this far but what the hey!

Cats hate Aluminum Foil! It freaks out their senses!

I promise it will work just lay a sheet on your hood every night until they stop trying to get up there.

It worked on my couches.

good luck!

Are you sure you don't want to use one of your lifelines? Don't you get NINE in cat postings??? :D

wildchild Nov 9, 2001 09:00 AM

dsm327: great pic. is that your cat? looks almost like ours. he's himalayan.
when i was in the army, one of our cadences was "napalm sticks to kids" sung at the appropriate tempo of course. people didn't like that either. :)

dsm327 Nov 9, 2001 11:59 AM

Wildchild. No thats not mine but I beleive it might be a close relative to one of my cats.:p But mine is always drinking my Shiner...
