best way to clean tools

I've heard of using brake cleaner, varsol, alcohol, soap and water, WD40 and a few others I can't remember right now. So, what do you use to clean your tools?

Usually use WD40 or Gojo if I need it... tools usually don't get that dirty though.... never really need them except to change oil and add accessories

Brake clean. It actually eats the grease in the places you can't get clean. WD-40 makes the tool slippery beacuse it actually puts a lubricant on it like oil.

Baby bum wipes. No, really. Those things clean stains out of carpet too. And really good waterless hand cleaners when your hands get dirty.

They clean so well, I'd be afraid to use them on a kid's butt.

That's the funniest thing I've read in a while! LOL. I believe you tho, anything that can clean that 'crap' has got to work on tools eh? ha ha hahahahha..... And you've got a good point about not using on their butts too....

Defacto,

I'm not kidding. My mom even uses them to get red wine stains out of light grey carpet. Best clean up I've seen short of a carpet shampoo. And they are excellent degreasers (water aloe and fragrance, I dont know how)
