Cool

Matt K,

Try to make sure all of the recalls were done. I would buy mine again.

Thumbs up Couldn't be happier:

Really enjoying mine. It now has 74k on it and still going strong. One thing to note is that mine was a "late" 97 (built 3/97) and had the exhaust out the back from the factory. Maybe it was done after the TSB. Dunno, don't care. I put on a Gibson SS anyway. Really like it too. Not too loud, but tons better then the stock "vaccum cleaner" it came with.

Price was the main factor in my purchasing my 97. Finally came down enough for me to afford one!

Wow, beautiful truck Mitch. Guys, thanks for all the advice. I'm going to try to find the best deal in the 10,000 range, but sadly, I still have a bit of time til I can drive. But again, thanks for all the help. Glad I am apart of the forum.

Thanks Matt K. So you don't even have a license yet!! Wow, paper routes must pay alot more now then in my day. Just kidding....... I'm impressed however. I couldn't even begin to think about looking for my F150 until seven months ago and I'm 38!!

Mitch, I know everyone on your route was glad you finally got a truck. I'm sure you pedaled hard but at 38, even huffin and puffin you were probably delivering yesterday's news.

Heh, no, I don't have a license yet. But I do have a permit which lets me drive with someone 18 or older who has a license. I don't have a paper route either but I have been saving for about 2 years and have accumulated 2100 dollars, my goal is 4,000.
