I found this today & thought of all you single guys who would love someone who would let you have fun w/your trucks. I think these women would be behind you all the way! LOL!

Funny stuff cowlady.......not lookin' for a wife though, but I am looking for a man to take away the one I've got.
That dress code could catch on. The women where I live should be made to put a cloth bag on thier head before they go out!

Try this - it might help!
Okay - a few of you appear a bit disenchanted w/your current significant others. I think I might be able to help IF you're interested in some advice.
Think of how you get "that certain look" in your eyes when you see your truck - a mix of rapture, admiration. longing - you know what I mean! Well, TRY looking at your "gals" that way & I bet they start behaving a bit differently too! Trust me on this - I may own a truck but I am still female - I KNOW how we think! LOL! What do you have to lose? Basically, all we want as women is to be loved as much as you love your trucks - that's not too hard to do is it?
If it doesn't work, then bookmark that site but who knows WHAT you'll end up with! It could be ME under there someday! It's 1 way for me to find that "special someone! ROFL!

I missed it!
I haven't kept up with the truck jokes post so I missed that wildchild. BUT, if you know where it is (which page!) I'd love to read it. For the record - it's no easier finding a guy who can accept a woman who is into trucks or cars or working on them! They may love doing it themselves but find it difficult to "allow" someone they're interested in to know as much or do as much as they do! However, with my luck I always end up with a guy who knows NOTHING about his vehicle & expects me to be his personal AAA service! One guy would call, try to imitate the nosie his car was making then ask me to go over & fix it! I fixed HIM when I showed up with my toolboxes, wearing coveralls & his friends were over! He wasn't laughing - they were! LOL! Oh yeah - I did fix it - he needed a starter that time!
Cowlady,
ditto on the guys who don't know crap about the vehicles they drive. i now refuse to date men who know less about what is under the hood then i do.
oh yeah and replacing a starter on the boyfriends car....been there done that....
i feel your pain!

cowlady: sorry i don't know where it is, i do remember seeing it but that was back when that thread was only 10 pages long or less. may have to look for it. could take a week to read that whole post now
i guess i don't understand why guy's would be like that. i know their out there but really, working on the vehicles is what keeps me from having to do dishes all the time
although i still get stuck now and then.
our 16 yr old son just got his license and was a little upset with me for telling if he didn't take auto shop and learn at least the basics he couldn't get a car.
my 10 yr old is totally different, he loves working on vehicles with me every chance he gets. in fact he now gets paid by some of our neighbors to change their oil. his idea of getting a car is "what can we build for my 16th birthday" won't be long and i'll have to start finding the right project.
