I just don't understand some people...I was pulling into the gas station last night, and had to pull between two vehicles, one which was a Dodge truck, and the other one was a little red toyota celica. The guy driving the toyota celica looked right at me, and motioned for me to go thru, so I proceeded to go thru and pull up to the pump, well once my trucks passenger side door was up to his car, the idiot opened his door, and hit it right into my truck door. It left 3 long red marks of paint on my door, but not a scratch.
However he tried to shut his door, and when it hit my truck it must have mis-aligned his door, because the only way it would shut, was to slam it shut. I was going to say something to him about being an idiot, until I took a look and saw that there was nothing but paint on my truck, and it rubbed right off with him looking at me doing it. That had to have added insult to injury.
By the way, gas was down to $1.11 yesterday, compared to $1.75 just a week ago.

 

1.11 for gas I wish it was that cheap around here its still around 1.29 in my area. I bet the look on that guys face when you rubed the paint off was priceless.

 

wow, thats one dumb guy. hey at least there wasnt any damage to ur truck (well, nothing that aq little rubbing couldnt fix ). btw, you guys have some cheap gas! around here the cheapest ive seen it is around $1.30.

 

Watch Out -it just went back up this morning from $1.12 to $1.26 out our way. Watch Superamerica- They lead the way on price increases!

I know how you feel MNFORD. someone did the same thing to my truck that I have had for 2 weeks. I wasn't there when they did it or I might be in jail for manslaughter or something. I took some WD40 to it and the paint came off with no dents and only a very small scrape which is barely visible. I was very relieved. Stupid cars!!!

Gas at this particular gas Station (Go Gas and Wash - Cornre of Hwy 65 and Osborne in Fridley) gas hasn't went up at all since the WTC Disaster. It has only went down. I lived down in Richfield with my fiance for the past 8 months, now living back in Fridley, but the gas in Richfield was about $.20 to $.30 more a gallon over the north metro....SO I used to always fill up when I was up visting my parents. Good to see that there is atleast one Minnesota member left on here. Take care.

 

Get this, someone hit my truck at my Grandfather's funeral!! How low is that. Scratched up my fender flair and no one ever said a word about it.

 

Just over a dollar for gas? You guys suck! In the Chicago Suburbs its still about $1.40 for the cheap stuff! Around $1.55 in the city

I use to live in Anoka until earlier this year, if you get over towards Hwy 10 and Ferry St. the Sinclair station there was always one of the cheapest around.

MNFord and Gopher...Im from Cambridge. Im down your way quite often and Ive been at the station that this happened at. Bum deal...even though he didnt scratch it I wouldnt have been able to hold myself back. He would have been walkin with three shoes...two on his feet and one in his ***! Gas is down to a 1.12 today but is still 1.20 at Super America...they are always the highest around.
