agree about the anthrax coverage 100% and don't forget it's curable.
the one to be nervous about is the small pox, if they decide to use it.
change my life for them...not. actually it's gotten better, still work, still play, just watch tv even less then before because it's always the same.

Check the stats about Anthrax being "cureable", Wildchild. IF it's caught early enough, chances are fair the disease can be halted and cured. The fatality for the disease is 90%. Those are not good odds. (For a quick read on this nasty illness, check WebMD). Furthermore, the dorks beginning to hoard the current cure -- Cipro -- may not be as safe as they think. Like most diseases, it mutates over time and becomes resistant to current treatments. So taking Cipro now may not protect us later. Personally, I think this Anthrax scare is a diversion.
We're tying up a lot of Investigators and assets. I believe while we're chasing this red herring, the Terrorist cells are plotting something else particularly destructive. A couple of major truck bombs, for instance. They're not stupid. I haven't seen any Nat'l Guard troops guarding any U-Haul centers recently, and last time I checked, anyone with a Drivers Lisc. can rent a truck.
Just a thought............

Bottom line. In this country, we don't need to be afraid of anthrax. Our health care system can handle it. Anthrax is everywhere and people have been exposed to anthrax for years without knowing it or suffering any ills from it.

If you see a powder somewhere, don't autmatically think it's anthrax. The powder you see in the coffee room is probably Coffeemate, Equal, or sugar. If you see a powder on a construction site, it's probably sheet rock dust or sawdust. If you see a powder on the floor of a supermarket, look at the shelves above it. It's probably flour.

People need to use some common sense. The paranoia is crazy. Bin Laden is watching CNN and laughing his *** off.

We're a country of whimps running around with our heads chopped off and those still with their heads are Henny Pennies screaming "The sky is falling!"
