No, no trades. I'm still a hoarder.

Non ecoboost 3.3L V6 to not have to pay for turbo replacements 10+ years from now.

Six speed auto because you can't get stick. The ecoboosts come with 10 speeds, but that's just more money.

Id'a been fine with crank windows, but its the XL decor group with the fluff power windows and wifi.

Regular cab, 4x4, AC, and cruse control were my only requirements. The salesman wasn't like, "You sure you don't want a Lariat?" XL for life!

The 10 speeds also have been having issues. How's the power?

Meh. Prolly the same as my ****box 351 trucks. Just has to take me to work. I moved to Colorado and left my fleet of trucks and trailers on the east coast.

Drove home today. They wanted a check instead of cash on Saturday.

Thumbs up

Congrats on your new truck. I'm considering getting back into a F150 as I currently have a 2012 Mustang GT I bought used back in January of 2016. As my old 2005 F150 was near 200k at the time when i traded it in. Now the Mustang has little over 230k on it it had 65k when I got it. At the time I had just over 50 mile drive into work reason why I went with a Mustang over a F150 to save on gas at the time. Now I'm at a new job in a new state and need a 4x4 for the winter months up here in KS so a F150 or possibly a Ranger, but more than likely a F150 as I have to have something more than that little 4 banger in the Ranger.

I drove the ranger. The twin turbo 4 had lots of go, but I thought it was too small and no regular cab option.

Yeah I agree on the regular cab as another reason why I don't want to go the Ranger route. Even trying to find a regular cab F150 is hard to find these days. Both the F150's I had in the past were regular cab 4x2 trucks now I want to find a 4x4 regular cab version in the 2015 to 2020 body style new or used but if used low mileage . My old 2000 was a XLT with the 4.6L then my 2005 was a XLT as well with the 5.4l both had 3.55 gear ratio.

There were only two 4x4 regular cab shorties in the state. The one I bought that had to come from a fleet dealer, or a $110K shelby super snake sport.

Rather interesting.

Nice to see some regular cabs floating around again.

I don't see enough "traditional" pickups anymore on the road. Everyone has people haulers.

They were really pushing the crew cabs they had on the lot instead of trading a fleet dealer to get mine. They finally gave up when I said the last truck I bought was a regular cab six speed 6.4L. The sales manager then said, "Oh we don't take 6.4L on trade." Because of the stick, I'll never sell that truck, and have a built 6.4L dropped in. Long live the ZF!

Yeah, that's all folks want are crew cabs and tiny boxes nowadays for the most part.

My next truck will likely be a super cab long bed. Only reason why is because I plan on downsizing a vehicle. The vehicle that I'd be downsizing is a Jeep Compass which holds 5 people. So I'd like something that I could still fit 5 people and I'd like to have a truck with a full 8' box. I don't haul people that often, but it's nice to have the option to. So when I trade my F150 in for the SD, that's at least my plan right now. Might pull the trigger next year, but definitely the year after... see what I can get for a deal. Hopefully all this Coronavirus junk is out of the way by then...

Nice truck Adrian..probably all the truck most people need. I drove a regular cab for years with no problems. Congrats!
