Leaking panoramic sunroof..Dealer "not finding any problems"

hello, i just bought a 17 f150 limited(27,000 miles) and was assured that the panoramic window didnt have any issues. i mentioned it numerous times to the salesman that 3 of the 6 f150 limiteds i looked at in the metro area had leaking sunroofs.. i knew it was a crap shoot. anyways it rains out and the back 1 ft of the headliner gets soaked enough to drip down and soak my kids seat and the leather seat under it. i call the dealer right away and they agree to get me a crappy rental while they look it over... a few days later it rains again. this time the truck is the opposite direction in the driveway and the floors on both sides of the front get completely soaked.. i tried fans, dehumidifiers ect to get the mildew smell out to no avail...real nice.. so i get it into service and they call me and say they cannot mimic the issue and theres no problem. no leak.. i told them i would not accept that as an answer i will not be picking up the truck untill they have some sort of answer.. finally i get the servcice manger on the phone. he agrees to look at it again himself. 2 days later he call and says he found the problem. after water running on it for over 15 mins the drains will get an air bubble in them air locking the drain so no water goes out. he assures me they have dropped the headliner and made sure everything is fine.. i go pick it up and sure enough next rain we get guess what? floors soaked again... now they want me to bring it back again and they probably wont even find a problem again... its so frustrating this truck was 43000 cash down the ****ter.. ive always been a ford guy and i like my high end truck. if theres no limiteds without a sunroof ill have to sell it and get a denali or limited ram... how sad.. any way i go about it ill be out thousands of dollars cause im not getting my money back from the dealership... since my trucks not brand new it doesnt qualify for buyback is what i was told by my sales man.. any advise is appreciated thanks guys

I bought my 17 Platinum with under 20K on it, panoramic roof. It must have been always garaged and never driven in the rain. It was bone dry when I bought it, no smells either.
First time I drove it in the rain the front passenger carpet was soaked. I dried it completely with hair dryer, etc. Drove to the dealer and they immediately asked if I could bring it back on another day. They had a sunroof guy that only worked on certain days. I brought it back. He found a crimped drain hose installed at the factory on the side where it leaked. 3 hours later problem solved and never leaked again.

Not much help, other than stay on the dealer, or changed dealers. I'm sure the service and expertise varies from dealer to dealer.

Good luck.

That's usually the problem.

1. Clogged drain hose.
2. Disconnected or otherwise damaged drain hose.

A #3. could be if the truck got flipped or otherwise major cab damage where it messed up the cab, the sunroof will start leaking from the seals. Unless it was aftermarket.
