My experience with Gumount.

I received my prize package from Gumout about 2 weeks ago. I decided to use it on my run around truck because it has the most miles and does most of the work since my F150 is a show truck now. The truck is a 2001 Toyota Tacoma Pre-Runner Quad cab. The truck has about 145,000 miles on it. It usually averages about 18 miles per gallon if I keep my foot out of it. I drive the Tacoma back and forth to Dr's appointments and to run errands. I just used it to help my daughter move her house hold items to Montana. I was pulling a 5 x 8 box trailer filled to the hilt and the bed and back seat of the truck were stuffed too. On the way home pulling my empty trailer I noticed a decrease in fuel mileage and it as Idling rough. My guess is because I had a headwind most of the way there and had my foot to the fan belt most of the way.

When I received my Gumout Package I immediately took the "One and Done to the gas station and filled up the tank. It took about a 100 miles or so and I noticed the Idle had cleared up considerably. After I burned through that tank of gas, I filled up again and kept track of miles per gallon. I topped it off and went to several Dr's appointments. It is about a 35 mile drive each way, and I went to several of my grand daughter's soccer games. That drive is about 19 miles each way.

I did a total of 261 miles of driving, and when I topped off the truck I put in 13.87 gallons of gas. I did the math and was happy to see that my fuel mileage was back plus some. All in all I would have to give the Gumout products 2 thumbs up. It not only cleared up my rough idle but increased my fuel mileage to levels I haven't seen in a while.

It should work - it's got PEA in it. Those are the only fuel additives that do work. Techron was the first.

It's good stuff. I've been using it periodically for several years and I can tell the difference. I also use heavy doses in my old carbed motorcycles when I let them sit a little too long.

I run a bottle of "All-in-One" through the tank of gas just prior to my oil changes in all of my vehicles. Keeps my fuel and intake system clean and by doing it just prior to my oil change I figure it gets rid of any "gunk" that got washed into the oil from the process.
