Wheels/rim fitting

I have a 1989 f150 4x4 long wheel base with the inline6 4 speed Manuel trans, I have stock 15 inch rims I want to go up to 16's or 17's because I would like to put 33 12.50's on my truck. The back end has 2 inch blocks so it looks jacked up I didn't put there... Thing is if I got either size rims(stock) would the 33 12.50's fit on the stock rims? I found a set of stock 16 inch rims on a 2000 f150 2 wheel drive will they fit and would I have to buy a lvling kit for the front? And will it scrub if I don't?

The 2000 wheels have a 5 x 135mm bolt pattern, and I believe the 89 wheels used a 5 x 127mm or 5" pattern. so I don't think they will physically bolt up.

i doubt those rims will fit your truck

the 89 straight six is so underpowered, the bigger tires are going to kill your performance.

I would go to discount tire and pick out a inexpesive aftermarket rim.

american racing ar767 $88.00 each in a 16 x 8

or american racing ar172

i think both would look good on the truck and give it a fresh look.

i would go with a 265/75/16 tire. 31.5 tall about 10.4 wide
