Hello, all. I'm back and in another F150. 2015 F150 Lariat Sport. Loving the new truck and all the options I wanted. Not loving the options I didn't want. Namely the knocking inside the passenger door. Sounds like a harness bumping the door panel every time I hit a bump in the road. Well, new body style, new body style problems. Had it about a month now and so far, I've acquired a chipped windshield and rock pecks from construction on the interstate I travel to work. (Now, I travel the streets!) Got a detailer working on the rock pecks - the ones that irk me anyway. Glad to be back and catch up with everyone. Oh, I'm building a Ranger that I've been entering in local shows. Still got a ways to go on it. Ford all the way. - Og
I'm usually not a big fan of lowered Rangers, but that one looks really nice -- just the right amount of lowering balanced with the well-matched oversize rims......
When I bought my last Ranger I really wanted to get a regular cab-short bed variation, but also needed to have the 4.0 engine which only came in the extended cab trucks, so that is what I ended up with. When the last of the new Rangers were still on the dealer lots back in early 2012, I seriously considered picking up one of the last regular cab-short bed trucks to keep as a "fun vehicle" but just wasn't in the financial position to do so at the time.....

I really liked the Ranger regular cabs. Got lucky and found this one with low miles. I love tinkering on it. Would love to swap in a Coyote 5.0. Working on it keeps me away from the TV. - Og
Glad to see you back again and in a new F150 to boot! Nice ride (except for that door rattle thing??) and that Ranger is awesome too! I'm not a lowered truck guy, but that Ranger is nice.
Still digging my 13 Eco and with 25,000 + miles now and 2 full towing seasons under my belt, it's gonna stay in my garage probably as long as my old 97 F150 did!

Hey, Mitch! Thanks for the kind words. Feels pretty good knowing the ol' crew is still hanging Ford tough. - Og
