It'll (XC700)hang with an XCR or anything up to around 90-95mph, but if you never took a T-Cat for a blast.......you can't help but be impressed with the power.
On the trail it's really useless, but on a lake, HOLD ON!!
I keep it set up to keep weight on the ski's the second I lift from the throttle, for best control. It really is the best sled I have ever ridden as far as the weight transfer mechanism works.

Wink Calling JStang or Screwloose...

I live in Central Maine (Winslow, other side of Waterville). I have ridden in all the areas you have spoke of (Skowhegan, Augusta, Jackman, etc.). Nothing compares to ridding Caribou area. It's a four hour ride for me but worth ever minute of it. Last year rode from Winslow to Fort Kent in two days (450 miles). What a ride with breathtaking views of Mt. Katahdin!! Maybe I might meet you on the trails this year...just bought an MX Z 600 today. Already planned a trip from Winslow to Jackman, into Canada, around the top of Maine, back into the County, and south back to Winslow. Gonna take six or so days and a whole lot of miles...can't wait till the trip (second week in February)! Waiting and praying for tons of that white stuff to start falling. I want another 120"!
