Wink The Supermoon/Eclipse

At first we didn't think we would be able to see it. But my sister and I hopped in the truck and went out to the pier, and got lucky! The first series is up close of the Eclipse. Then the next will be the weather clearing to reveal the moon, then the Blood Moon at near full Eclipse. Some light clouds started to roll in. So I had to change some settings on the camera to get it. Those may look a little grainy especially after needing to resize them for posting.

Nice pictures! When the moon came up where I was, it was already about 1/3 covered by the Earth's shadow. And, when the eclipse reached totality, it was not a "blood moon" to the naked eye. However, in a picture I took, it was much redder. I don't know why this should be, but that's the way it was in Tucson.
