Booked our trip to Colorado and trying to find a website or something that shows what octane the towns have.
We are taking the truck and plan on running my 5 star 87 eco tune just to see what it does. Just not sure how far i can get until places start dropping the octane. Last trip i think i remember Colorado Springs having 85 octane, Never looked for midgrade or supreme up there.

Places like gasbuddy might show the ratings via the listed prices.
What part of CO are you heading to? I go out there every summer and haven't had a problem finding gas for the truck. The 5* 87 tow tune ran great for me last summer. Finding anything higher than 91 will be impossible unless you plan on buying aircraft fuel. 91 is the premium fuel there.

If you're not towing much 87 won't hurt a thing. I've pulled small trailers on the stock tune running 87 without a problem at over 12,000'. Last year I had a much larger trailer with a lot more stuff with me and the temp gauge just started to get a little bit over normal running up a long steep grade (think like the one those TFL guys use) on the 87 5* tune. I threw some 89 in the next time I filled up and never had a problem again.

If they have 91 then i will just run that with the 87 eco tune. I was thinking supreme would be lower than 91 since regular is 85 octane.
Another reason i really don't want to run 87 octane is because the truck hasn't had it in atleast 40k miles. Have always had 91 and 93 Top Tier. Not sure on these newer trucks but i know on older vehicles going from supreme to regular they would ping pretty bad.
Last trip up there we took the wifes Chrysler Mini Van, looking for a little more fun running up and down the mountain, along with pikes peak.
