Me: 2004 F150 XLT (white)
Wife: 2013 Explorer XLT (white)
We finally traded in my wife's 09 Dodge Cailber for the Explorer last year. I hated that car! For a car with only 70,000 mile on it the thing had so many problems I couldn't wait to kick it out the door. I've been a ford guy all my life, 98 Ranger, 02 F150 Screw, and been well taken care of by both of those trucks. I love Fords, no matter what year or model. I usually love the exterior and interior styling and I just "get" how to work on them. They are usually pretty straight forward when it comes to repairs and maintenance and don't tend to be a wormhole for money (unless you want it to be, haha). I didn't need to do much convincing on my wife to go with another Ford after she saw how much money we had/needed to dump into her little Caliber to keep it going in good condition. I love the Explorer's looks, it just looks classy especially in white. I don't get much seat time in it but when I do it makes me want a new F150 with the Sync. Haha. My F150 has 161K on the ticker and still runs awesome. I'm planning on a new complete suspension on it next month, new plugs in August, and I might be developing an exhaust leak but I can handle that. She takes care of me and I take care of her, I hope the Explorer is the same way.

No, not yet. I'm a big fan of Ford, but my wife had the Scion when we got married. Although I have been pleasantly surprised by the Scion and actually like it. I'll probably try to steer her into a Ford something when the time comes for her new one. I just got the F150 this past weekend. Prior to that was a 2008 Mazda3 Hatchback w/ 5 speed.
