I had at least 10 second hand vehicles I bought for work and fishing cars back in the 70's and early 80's. Mostly in the $200 to 1500 dollar range. I'd keep them a short while. fix them and detail them and sell them for a small profit.

If your interested in that era of large ford cruiser take a look at the 69 Ford XL my Dad had one. Nicest car he ever had in my opinion. 4v 429. When they got it it was lemon colored but my oldest sister wrecked it and the old man had them paint it Maroon and it had a black vinyl top. Here's a U-tube of a simular car.
